now i know y staying on-campus is sooooo much fun ... :)
you get lotsa activities & opportunities to meet new ppl ;p

my house was kinda outnumbered by the other hses ... that's y they count the scores according to percentage ...

evatts house has bout 220 ppl,
international house has 200+ ppl,
edwards hall has 300+ ppl,
barahineban has only 130 ppl ---> my hse :)

the competition was held at The Forum, this awesome gym which is actually a branch of the main one in the city ... especially 4 the uni students ... i'm thinking of getting a membership, hhmmm ...

the guys 50m freestyle competition ...

they had all sorts of races ...

1 guys & gurls 50m freestyle

2 guys & gurls 50m backstroke

3 novelty event (pairs)

4 guys & gurls 50m butterfly

5 guys & gurls 50m breaststroke

6 guys & gurls 4x50m freestyle relay

7 mixed 4x50m novelty relay (noodle)

8 mixed 4x50m medley relay

9 salmon race

i only watched events 1& 2 ...

had to rush off to church leh :)

me & yvonne ... pictures were taken at akward angles due to out confined seating arrangements ...

overall, the event was very cool ...

my hse got 2nd place for mass participation ...

considered very good alredi as we don't usually win the sports competitions ...

barahineban is almost 70% asians ...

the aussies are way more fit than us asians ...

i wud like to join future competitions but i think i'll hafta really think carefully first ...

cos not only am i super vertically challenged ...

i'll probably hafta train as well ...
