it took quite awhile 4 this song 2 sink in ... sumhow when i posted bout my teenstreet camp with the theme 'contagious', i'm pretty sure i came across these lyrics but it din strike me ... till i viewed back the last unplugged session & saw the kk team : eunice, david & benji, singing this song tt i decided 2 dwld it ... over the past mth of january ... i embarked on a study of the book of acts ... twas quite easy as i'd alredi done a study on it during f4 & f5 for spm ... i wuz still following the theme contagious ... yes, i plan 2 start the u-campus bible reading plan in feb ... heheheh ... anyway, over the mth of january ... i learnt a gr8 deal bout being contagious & juz 4 the benefit of sum of you out there ... i'm juz gonna list down a few pointers ...

BEING CONTAGIOUS
1) ... begins as i care 4 ppl
2) ... gathers strength as i delight in god
3) ... is exhibited in my character
4) ... gains momentum with vison
5) ... alwaz awakens my opposition
6) ... breeds other contagious beings
7) ... means responding in the right way

LOVE ASSIGNMENTS 2 FOLLOW UP
1) worship god
- show respect 4 god by setting aside time to pay tribute 2 his gr8ness in ur life
2) serve someone
- help a person in need

- take time 2 rest, marvel at god's creation & juz be still

i hafta say tt i found assignment 1, 2, 4, 5 & 8 very rewarding ... in the sense tt when i completed it, you can really feel sumthin stir in ur heart, so yeah ... assignment 3 & 6, i found pretty hard 2 complete but i went thru it anyway as best as i cud ... and 2 be honest, i nvr really completed assignment 7, 9 & 10 ... cos there's juz so many things 2 thank god for ... you noe the saying, 'nor cud the scroll, contain the whole, tho stretched fr sky 2 sky' ... uh-huh ...

IMPORTANT LESSONS
1) god luvves every1
2) ur true character shud not confuse the msg of god
3) to have a vision, you need 2 spend time with 'the visionary' god
4) live the truth, reflect the luv of god 2 those in need & rejoice in god's hands no matter wat kinda treatment you receive
5) be who you really are & excel in ur gifts & talents 2 bring various responses fr others
6) live & react 4 god in the right way, no matter wat happens. ur life is a story!
7) be ready 4 wat god is preparing or who god may send 2 you, at anytime
8) living contagiously causes change 2 urself & the ppl around you
9) share ur story of wat god has done & continues 2 do in ur life & ppl around you even with ppl you usually dun connect with. cause a spread in the kingdom of god!
10) pray 4 sumthin on god's heart & see him answer tt prayer
11) go wherever u're sent & share the msg 2 those who listen
12) persecution & hard times will surface. encourage & strengthen each other in faith!
13) we are caused to seek god, reach out 4 him & find him. in him, we live & move and have our being
14) use ur specific gifts 2 work as a team 2 strengthen & encourage believers. be led by god!
15) sacrifices are required sumtimes in order 2 tell the story of wat god is doing
16) guard against those who wud steal the luv of god fr us
17) stand out in a crowd eventho you noe wat u're gonna face
18) being in the place god wants you at the rite time gives god the opportunities 2 work in & thru you in new ways

this week wuz my real last week at the hub @ ss 15 ...
only manage 2 capture this blur shot fr where i sat, behind the drums ...

we din have praise & worship this week cos it wuz HI-TEA thursday ... it wuz an awesome time ... so instead, michelle had us do a performance ... a parody of coldplay's song 'yellow' ... i ter-left the lyrics stuck 2 the cymbal stand ... oooops ... so i spent my last thurday drumming with zailiang, benji, jovial, isaac, michelle & lucas ... saying gudbye wuz hard but i'll get over it ... which reminded me of luke's last sms 2 me ... this is wat he said :

'hey there ... sorry 4 the l8 reply ... i juz got back fr s'pore last sunday ... well yes i'll be starting work beginning of next yr ... so no campuscity 4 me ... i feel sad tt i hafta leave but i guess all of us hafta move on in life & my time in cc is over ... but i can say tt the time i spent there really changed my life & i hope tt you'll oso find tt when you get deep in his word & serve ... cos at the end of the day, it's all bout lives ... so put ur trust & faith in him ... serve with ur heart, not juz doing it cos you have to :)'

now it's my turn 2 say it : my time in u-campus movement is up!!!
