yes i noe, i missed yesterday's posting ... the 1st day of the new yr, how cud i ... well the internet connection yesterday wuz really bad ... so i decided not to try blogging ... din wanna be all frustrated at streamyx ... not tt yesterday wuz a gud day ...

but anyway, i found my stash of music cds the other day ... collecting dust under my desk in my room ... i guess after you get an mp3 player/ipod, cds dun matter much ... unless you drive & ur car has a cd player ... well, i found this particular disc tt i used 2 luvve alot ... and on this disc wuz the above song, 'i decide' by lindsay lohan ... i absolutely luvve lindsay lohan!!! ... yes i do & i dun care wat you say bout her ... heheheh ... well coming back 2 this song ... this song used 2 be my fave back last yr & maybe even the yr b4 tt ... yeah i guess tt long lah ... cos according 2 its label, it wuz the 6th cd i made ... and i have like almost 15 in tt stash ... but now tt i look back at the lyrics ... it kinda made me think fr a diff point of view ... i mean i can see y i liked the song ...

who doesn't wannabe in control? ... i bet almost every1 wants 2 be in control of their life, don't you? ... especially most gurls these days ... every1 wants 2 be miss independent ... remember kelly clarkson's hit, 'miss independent'? ... yeah tt wuz another 1 of my faves =) ... or better still, who likes rules? ... were rules really made 2 be broken? ... but now tt i look back at this song ... i can truly say tt i dun want it 2 be in my list of faves anymore ... i dun wanna run my life ... or rather i dun wanna run it my way ... and i'm gonna keep reminding myself tt it's not bout me ... it's bout you, jc ... u're the reason y i'm here & u're the reason 4 everything ... i'm not gonna decide anymore ... gonna let you take control & steer my life ur way ... it's a brand new yr & it's gonnabe an awesome one with you, taking the lead ... so i'm not gonna sing lindsay lohan's 'i decided' anymore but i'm gonna shout with all my heart 'jesus take the wheel' by carrie underwood ... amen? amen!!! woohoo =)

so, let's see wat i wuz up 2 on the last saturday of 2007, shall we?

well, it started on fri nite actually ... jeeleng & suming came over 4 a last minute sleepover ... the sleepover wuz s'posed 2 be on new yr's eve ... but suming cudn't make it ... so jeeleng decided the coming fri nite & juz after 9:30pm, both gurls were in my living room ... talking nonsense & bout everything under the sun ... hahahah ... then when my parents came back, we shifted 2 my sista's room ...

jeeleng, talking as usual ... hahahah ...

suming, who found my hippo huggable ... she had it the whole nite ... tt wuz my bday prezzie last yr fr mingchoi, hooisiang & nicholas ... she agrees with me it's juz the rite size 2 hug ... 100% suitable as comfort object =)

anyway, we spent sum time having our quiet time ... it wuz really gr8 being able 2 share openly bout things tt were bothering us or things tt we usually wud nvr talk bout ... esp suming, gud job gurl =) ... missed heidi alot tt nite ... *emo face*

the plan 4 saturday?
we actually called the boys 4 hi-tea ... pre-planned since wednesday ... the sleep-over wuz juz 2 go with the flow of plans ... so joseph came by at bout 11:30am & off we went 2 the hotel ... we went 2 the sun & surf cafe @ sunway hotel ... hsbc credit card holders were getting 50% off tt day ... so our bill fr 200 sumthin became 100 sumthin only ... and mommeee surprised me by paying 4 all my frens ... thanx mommeee!

joseph & jeeleng got us all coconuts ... melvin had 2 get his own, cos he came l8er ... look at the size of the coconut ... but cudn't really eat the stuff in it ...

then came the oysters ... joseph started it ... fr a hi-tea it became an 'eat-all-the-oysters-you-can' competition ... joseph whacked 35 raw oysters, melvin whacked 25 raw oysters, jeeleng whacked 10 raw oysters ... i only had 2 & we forced suming 2 eat 1 ... altogether we finished 73 oysters (o.O)

then the boys had 2 whack all the strawberries as well ...

now it's time 4 all the oyster slurping pics ...
