my 2nd camp this year but 1st camp after exams ... after all the running around 2 campuscity ... i very nearly 4got to start packing 4 this camp ... teeheehee ... as i mentioned previously ... i thot i wuz gonnabe up at ktj on the 6th ... hafta go two days earlier 2 set-up the campsite ... but they said i din hafta go *gRiN* ... so i went 4 SEGi's christmas bash ... which wuz the day rite b4 teenstreet ... i went 4 the preparation as well which took 2/3 of my thursday ... hahahah ... i got back home quite l8 on fri nite oso ... moving on =)

i went 2 teenstreet with suming this yr ... and the amount of trouble we went thru juz 2 get transport 2 ktj wuz absurd ... seriously! ... cos no1 else fr tlc wuz going this yr ... now i really appreciate yuenhsiang, sigh! ... juz joking =) ... anyway, we were trying 2 get shaun 2 take us with him cos we found out during reunion tt he wuz going on the 8th ... so y the hassle? ... shaun lost his hp!!! ... totally no contact, cut off fr the real world ... seriously!!! ... i had 2 call his hse phone ... blargh! ... i think it wuz juz days b4 we left 4 teenstreet tt i actually managed 2 get hold of him ... even then, we were email-ing ... really slow msn *click* ... so, it wuz fixed then ... at 11am on the 8th of feb, meet at kj lrt station ... surprisingly, he wuz early ... we made suming say a quick prayer & we were off ... thankfully we din get lost ... it wuz shaun's 1st time driving 2 ktj ... we reached really quickly, bout 2 hrs ... and shaun wuz complaining tt it wuz a boring drive & how he wanted 2 get lost ... *rolls eyes* rite ... so now if u're ready 4 a long scroll of pics ... sit back, smile & scroll =)

dec 8th - saturday

upon arriving @ ktj ... had lunch & started duty at the registration counter ... no, i din go 4 camp as a participant ... nor did i go there 2 lead/teach ... i went there 2 work!(service team) ... and i paid rm250 to do juz that ...
me stoning after the 1st batch of participants got registered ... i'm s'posed 2 be directing traffic ... traffic=participants? ...

every yr, the path tt leads 2 the registration counters takes sum form of an obstacle pathway according 2 the camp's theme ... the 1st yr's theme wuz 'wild kingdom' so participants had 2 climb thru a jungle-like pathway 2 register ... last yr's theme wuz 'metamorphosis' so participants climbed thru a coccoon ... this yr's theme wuz 'contagious' so participants had 2 go thru a tent tt gets fumed every few minutes ... quite smelly!

this time, we had prayer tents ... so during service, any1 cud juz crawl inside & pray ...

dec 9th - sunday

meet my fren grace ... grace & i met last yr at teenstreet & we were net members ... this yr she got promoted 2 be coach whilst i'm still a service crew ... *grumble* ... she's playing with her kid's nintendo ... too much!

k, i think i jumbled this pic up with another day ... i can't remember which day it wuz tho ... but this wuz a scary lunch ... apparently, there were sum complaints tt the service crew guys & gurls weren't mixing well ... so the gurls decided 2 get aggressive ... each gurl sat spaced out at the dining table & the minute the service crew guys came in ... we ordered each 1 to sit down in respective places in btw the gurls ... hahahah ... the guys did not have a pleasant lunch time ... infact chris, who wuz sitting opposite me ... he choked & you cud really see tt he wuz having a difficult time swallowing ... LOL! angelica in the pink shirt ...

this yr, the service crew were split in2 three grps only ...
1) sports
2) cafe/i-zone
3) tnt
suming wuz under sports & i wuz under cafe/i-zone ... by far the best thing 2 do ... work in the day, club at nite, woohoo! ... hahahah ...
chris juz luvves uno-stacko ... we cudn't find the dice so we used the uno cards ... we were having fun playing uno-stacko with little gurl participants ...

then i found sumthin totally awesome ... christian taboo! ... specially made by teenstreet ... how kewl is tt?!?!!

dec 10th - monday

to day is the day of the 'tnt race' ... 1stly, tnt stands for 'teens need teens' ... the reason y there's a race held is because every1 tt goes 4 teenstreet, is given a donation card 2 collect money 4 a certain grp of ppl ... this yr it wuz hiv infected ppl ... so as you can guess, the service crew under tnt & sports were involved ... so wat did we cafe/izone ppl do?
yes, self-entertainment ... no1 wud obviously come 2 the cafe cos they were busy racing ... but we weren't allowed 2 leave the cafe unattended either ... sigh! annie talking 2 michelle, sophia posing cos she saw me taking this shot & suming drawing aimlessly ...

*drum roll* ... my handwritten menu *beams* ... the food at the cafe is seriously getting better by the yrs ...

one of the stations fr the tnt race ... this yr's race, like last yr's, took the form of an obstacle race ... the 1st yr's one wuz really a race ... this station wuz dodgeball ... surprisingly, dodgeball wuz this yr's most wanted sport ... last yr wuz ultimate frisbee ...
the guy in the orange shirt & army pants is nicholas ... nicholas oso got promoted 2 be coach this yr ... so 4 tt, he has 2 run the race ... unlike the service crew, hahahah ...

the ppl heading this station were vernon, angelica, ivan & sum others ... this wuz the water balloon station ...

me, michelle & suming camwhoring as we had nothing else 2 do ...

then we decided 2 invade the water balloon station & take their water balloons ... btw, it wuz raining quite heavily ... michelle, sophia, me & annie ...

dec 11th - tuesday

all the gurls in the service crew ... this time we were all placed under 1 net ... michelle wuz our net leader ...

during another boring cafe shift ... suwei & me ... suwei & suming were actually in-charge of volleyball during this time ...

dec 12th - wednesday

today wuz the day 4 'tnt prayer' ... 1st we collect money ... 2nd we run the race ... 3rd we pray ... suming wuz in-charge of a nasty station with vernon ... flinging mud at helpless ppl on the ground ... too much!

vernon & ailyn ... vernon wuz all muddy ... i had a photo with him but he wuzn't smiling so i deleted it ... when i wuz considering retaking the photo with him ... i saw him swipe mud at suming & michelle as they each took a photo with him ... so no, i din retake =)

after all the mud, me & suming headed back 4 shower ... we saw the gurls posing with the tree ... pingxin, nicole, ailyn, sophia & annie (ground) ...

so after shower, it wuz time 4 me & suming 2 head off 2 the ktm station ... which now i wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to shaun who dropped us off ... i din even get 2 take photo with him *whine* ... we boarded the train really late ... bout 7:09pm ... we were s'posed 2 leave ktj at 6pm ... so i reached home juz b4 9pm ... wolfed down my dinner ... re-packed 4 my next camp & went 2 bed ... crazyness! ... had 2 be in tlc the next morn at 8am ... blargh!

so overall, awesome camp ... got 2 spend more time with michelle & vernon ... glad i got 2 noe ailyn & yiming ... really missed uxinn & mingchoi ... sorreee nicholas, i din get 2 talk 2 you much ... meet up soon, k? =)
