seriously, the music made during fri nite's unplugged session wuz amazing ... the voices were freaking awesome ... i hafta say the ladies owned the stage tt nite, hahahah ... anyway, this wuz my very 1st time attending unplugged & i hafta say ...

I AM GLAD I WENT! =)

at the end of the nite ... i cud truly say 2 myself, 'yueenmun, you made the rite decision 2 be at the hub 2nite' ... woohoo!

anyway, the whole day wuz kerazee ... i got roped in2 the food committee ... basically cos lena wuz in there, lol ... so on fri itself ... i woke up at like 7:30am ... no choice, cos all the ppl fr my side were going up 2 subang in the morn (thanx yvonne 4 dropping me off at lena's hse) ... the 1st thing i did wuz cook cocktail sausages (i wuz making skewered finger food) ... then i chopped up the cucumbers ... cos samantha & lena were oso preparing food ... means lena's kitchen will probably collapse with 3 ppl trying 2 prepare food at the same time ... so then i got 2 lena's hse ... and she made me shell quails' eggs ... sorreee lah, no pics ... we were really busy & we only had a 20 min break ... then me & samantha had a go at making pancakes ... i tell you, by the end of the afternoon ... we both graduated with a masters in the 'art of pancake making' ... hahahah ... then we had a short break ... samantha went facebook-ing whilst i decided 2 watch an episode of '2 7 a half men' ... quite funny lah ... then it wuz back 2 the kitchen ... lena made me grate cheese ... then i had 2 fry chicken balls ... and then came the major part ... assembling the skewers =)

man, i dun even have a pic of my handiwork ... so sucky ... anyway, the 3 of us showered, dressed, loaded the food in the car & drove off 2 pick sabrina ... lo & behold, as we approached the hub ... sabrina asked me, 'so wat food did y'all make?' ... i racked my brains 2 remember, 'skewers, pancakes, munchkins ...' ... and then lena screamed, 'i 4got the munchkins ... they're in the oven!' ... *jang jang jang* ... the problem wuz samantha had 2 get 2 bkt jalil & it wuz alredi 6:30pm ... so the arrangement wuz 4 samantha 2 drop me back at lena's hse 2 get the munchkins & lena's parents wud take me 2 the hub ... and knowing how clumsy i can get ... as i wuz rushing 2 get back 2 samantha's car ... i fell on the road rite outside groundfloor ... *sob* ... yes, the hard tar road ... the funny thing wuz, all the skin got scraped off my knee but it wuzn't bleeding ... hhmmm ...

anyway, as the event went on ... me, sabrina, cassandra, samantha & lena nearly died in the pantry ... i din leave the pantry til 9pm ... seriously, i've nvr been part of the food team b4 & it wuz quite an experience ... ppl kept asking 4 more drinks, more food ... we din get 2 eat or sit down for almost 4 hrs ... sabrina wuz turning pale ... luckily, i managed 2 sneak out & see the performances ... the hard part wuz trying 2 get fr 1 end of the hub 2 the other 2 clear the trash ... there were so many ppl!!! ... almost 200 & we were told 2 prepare food for 100 ... aaahhhhh ... so food ran out & when lena & samantha disappeared 2 replenish the food ... me, sabrina & cassandra nearly passed out trying 2 hold everything tgthr in the pantry ... but yeah, it wuz gud experience ...

then of course mia palencia stole the nite ... she even gave us an insight of her l8est song ... she wuz juz amazing ... and 2 think i've nvr heard of her b4 this ... *sigh*

last act wuz by benshyen, tessie & elsa ... tessie & elsa's voices were really really gud ... they sang jesus take the wheel by carrie underwood ...

then we had a msg by pastor ... i wuz personally expecting ppl 2 walk out of the hub tho i prayed tt they wudn't ... and you wudn't believe it, no1 moved or left the hub ... it wuz really gr8 ... every1 wuz listening 2 pastor at tt point of time ... we got 7 =)
